In einem Interview hat Steven Tyler auf die Frage welche Band eine vergleichbare Karriere wie die von Aerosmith hinter (vor) sich hat folgendes gesagt:
"...its hard to maintain what we've done and we're blessed. Ya know I dunno, I think MetallicA is a band that I know we all respect (Aerosmith) and they are not done by any means. I see them coming back to the top of the music world again here real soon. They are too good and have been through too much not to come back and kick everyone's ass time and time again, kinda like us (laughing). But yeah, they will always be an important band and I see no reason for them to not continue on for a very long time."
