Aber ich versteh das schon richtig, dass auf der Einzel-DVD auch alle Konzerte drauf sind, oder?! Wenn nämlich nur Metallica komplett drauf ist und vom Rest nur Teile, dann spar ich mir das ganze. Die Set von Metallica an dem Abend fand ich nämlich nun nicht wirklich berauschend. Hat man alles schon auf den anderen DVDs...

Ist über den Inhalt überhaupt schon was genaueres bekannt? Also ich mein jetzt die Standard-DVD. Bei der Deluxesache wird ja alles der jweiligen Bands mit drin sein @ set.

You may have heard us say something about a DVD at the end of the satellite broadcast or read it in the internet rumor mill . . . it's true, there will be a DVD release of the Big 4 show from Sofia, Bulgaria!! We had such an awesome time hanging with Anthrax, Megadeth and Slayer and the cameras were already rolling, so why not?

Here's the scoop: The DVD hits the streets on October 15 in Northern Europe, October 18 in most of the rest of the world, October 19 in North America and the full shows from all four bands will be included in the two disc set along with behind the scenes and interview footage. In addition to the two DVD set and the corresponding Blu-ray, there will be a limited edition "super deluxe" box set including the DVD set, five CD's with ALL the music, a 24 page booklet, a poster, photos of each band, and a Big 4 guitar pick.

The clever title of the DVD is "The Big 4 Live From Sofia, Bulgaria" (yes, that's really it!!) and you if you're interested in the box set, we'll have a pre-order in the Metallica Store for you shortly. And as always, keep watching here for more details, a preview of the cover, etc., etc.

Inzwischen gibts auch schon das Artwork...

Geil, fast 6 Stunden... :thumbup:

Allerdings hoff ich, dass dies jetzt die letzte Veröffentlichung ist, wo das Metallica Logo am Rand abgeschnitten wird - hat bei der Mexico DVD schon kacke ausgesehen.

Die Rückseite sieht gut aus! Nur die Sets lassen bei allen Bands zu wünschen übrig. Aber gut, was will man machen. Gekauft wirds trotzdem...

All DVD orders placed at the Metallica Store and at metclub.com, including the pre-order of the deluxe box set, will ALSO receive one limited edition, exclusive RED Big 4 guitar pick with one of four different print colors (white, black, silver or gold). This red guitar pick is not available in stores!

Naja bei 2 DVDs und 5 CDs war es klar das es um die 100 Dollar kostet, da machen die Plectren und der Rest den Kohl auch nicht fett!

Also Amazon hat das Boxset inzwischen auch drin. Allerdings für satte 126€!!! Von ner normalen Edition ist noch nix zu sehen. Als Releasedate wird der 13.10. angegeben...

Werd mir auch die Doppel-DVD holen. Mit den Preisen würd ich erst mal abwarten wenns langsam aber sicher Richtung Release geht und sämtliche Händler das Teil auch im Angebot haben.
Ich muss sagen, dass mich Slayer von den 4 mittlerweile am wenigsten interessiert. Deren glorreichen Livezeiten sind mMn schon seit den letzten Jahren vorbei. Ziemlich müde Vorstellung immer wieder..
Die Songauswahl find ich bei ´Tallica jetzt gar nich so verkehrt. Aber n weiterer Garage Song wär schon noch drin gewesen. Oder nochmal den ein oder anderen Load Song. Obwohl die nur Ende der 90er so richtig abgingen, also Load und Live.
Artwork gefällt mir sehr gut.

Obwohl die Setlist doch schon nen bisschen "Standard" ist. Whiplash hätte noch gefehlt. Das haben sie seit der Live Shit nicht mehr offiziell auf einer DVD gehabt. Und die Versionen des Songs sind in den letzten Jahren immer Killer gewesen. Egal, das Teil wird sowieso gekauft. Genauso wie die neue EP.
