Ja die Fear of the Dark ist nicht das beste, aber um einige besser als der Vorgänger No Prayer for the Dying...
Be Quick or be Dead, Afraid to shoot strangers und Fear of the Dark sind richtige Hammer Songs, der rest ist nicht schlecht aber auch nicht sonderlich überagend finde ich. Childhoods End, Judas be my Guide und The fugitive finde ich noch ganz gut.

No Prayer for the Dying hab ich erst garnicht gekauft, hab immer nur schlechtes gehört, naja, vieleicht wenn mir mal langweilig ist

Also From Here to Eternity ist nicht schlecht aber er gefällt mir nicht so, ist nicht gerade Maiden typisch der Song ist irgednwie anders...

Zur No Prayer of the Dying...ich habe auch nur schlechtes gehört, habe es aber auf Tape, so schlecht ist es nicht...höre noch am liebsten als andere Alben, aber es ist keine überragende Leistung wie auf der 7th Son of a 7th Son. Man merkt schon das durch den weggang von Adrian der Sound daran glauben mußte. Vom Stil her ist es total was anderes, es noch Maiden aber es fällt das gewisse etwas. Trotzdem kann man sich das Album anhören... den Holy Smoke und Bring your Daughter to the Slaughter sind gute Songs.

Piece of Mind ist aber auch ned so der renner gewesen mal abgesehen von "The Trooper" und "Flight of Icarus" die wirklich geil sind auch ein eher schwaches Album, Troz Adrian. Aber eben das erste AALbum mit Nicko McBrian, als Drum technisch weitaus komplexer als die Vorgänger

ansonsten hab ich die mir nie bis ende angehört

die 80er scheiben sind gut und fear of the dark is besser als no prayer

was ich net verstehe wieso killers so hoch geschätzt wird.
paar gute songs (wrathchild, killers und noch so 2) aber die anderen platten sind eindeutig besser

Killers ist ein gutes Album, aber ich finde die Sachen die danach kamen auch besser.
Der Sound auf dem Debüt Album und der Killers Scheibe ist irgedwie frech, auf dem nachfolgern ausgreifter. Trotzdem bleiben das Klassiker.
